Start seeing double…
As a vision UX duo, we regularly produce the same output of a high performing team of 5 UXers.
Our hot take is that only hiring for individuals is outdated, short-sighted, and ultimately not nearly as impactful as hiring effective duos and trios to work inside an organization.
Two people with deep, collaborative synergy are not simply the sum of their parts. They’re so much more.
Not to mention, when someone has your back, you’re empowered to act more boldly, take more risks, and have more fun.

start seeing double
More risks = bolder outputs
Less forming & norming, more producing
Less oversight and corporate slow-down: “You two got this, right?”
Divide and conquer = less time on process for the sake of…process
Good cop, bad cop, we switch off regularly 🫡

Toxic Ambiguity: How a common job requirement has set us up for failure
“So, what do we really mean when we say thriving in ambiguity? Let’s call this what it really is: toxic ambiguity.”
“We need to stop pitching ourselves as a discipline that ‘thrives’ in ambiguity. We need to start pitching ourselves as a discipline that ‘navigates through’ ambiguity.”
“We don’t feel that hiring managers are to blame. They’ve simply met us where we are: celebrating our supposed love for thriving in chaos. The narrative starts with us.”
A little more about us
